NORDJEVEL at Kaltenbach Open Air, Austria, 2022
ASENBLUT
Black/Thrash/Pagan Metal band Asenblut from Germany kicked off day 2 for me at Kaltenbach Open Air.
MORTAL STRIKE
Thrash metal legends Mortal Strike from Austria are always great to shoot and see perform.
HIDEOUS DIVINITY
Italian (technical) Brutal Death band Hideous Divinity were up next. I have to admit I have never seen or heard anything about them before but I'm very glad that now I do. Definitely gonna see them again if I have the chance to.
NORDJEVEL
Besides Benighted on day 1, this was my favorite act of the whole festival. What an incredible show of Norwegian Black Metal band Nordjevel. That was not the last time I've seen those guys I can promise you that. Absolutely fantastic.
DECAPITATED
Been listening to Polish Death Metal band Decapitated since forever. Super solid performance. They just never disappoint.
PRIMORDIAL
Folk Black Metal Band Primordial from Ireland did a great show. I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of Pagan or Folk Metal Bands - to put it nicely but it's undeniable that they do an amazing job. The crowd absolutely loved them.
DARKFALL
What is Kaltenbach without Darkfall? I don't really know but I'm glad I don't have to imagine that. The mighty (melodic) Death/Thrash band did once again an unbelievable show to close day 2 for me at this festival.
